CTG team wins first prize of 2023 State Sci-tech Progress Award

Research on 'Comprehensive Technologies and Equipment for Safe and Efficient Development of Offshore Wind Power and its Industrialization', led by CTG’s team, was honored with the first prize of the 2023 State Scientific and Technological Progress Award on June 24.

This project tackled challenges faced by offshore wind power in complex marine environments, addressing issues such as structural safety and installation difficulties.

It also made progress in maintenance and operations, and overcame technological challenges in power transmission, providing technical support for the large-scale development of offshore wind power.

It is the second time for CTG to be honored with the State Sci-tech Progress Award as the leading entity after receiving the Special Prize of the State Sci-tech Progress Award with its Three Gorges Project in 2019.
